I dont think anyone was terribly upset when the Titans declined Lockers 5th year $14m team option extension.

BUT, he has this one last shot to solidify himself as a Titan. If he dont get it done he will be elsewhere in 15 and so be it.

I think Locker can be good. He seems to be the kind of player to start out slow, but steady, and improve a lot as the season goes on.

But. He gets injured, too much, and has to start all over again.

He also fits nicely into the rotation of RBs that we have now.

Love his all round play...Finally we have a guy that can catch the ball well, lower the shoulder when needed, and most importantly has great VISION!!!! No more dancing and hesitating bs....This was an awesome pick

Shonn Greene probably hasn't ran a 4.6 in 5 years. Hyde is going to be really good.

Hyde will be good, but I don't see him being as diverse as Sankey...It doesn't hurt that he is walking on to a very good team to help his case though.

I don't know. Wilson will have a shot depending on how quickly he can read a system.

Read that Mettenberger scored a 30 on the Wonderlic. (And yes- I do believe that score correlates well to IQ- not football success.)

I could easily see Wilson starting for us with Mettenberger being starter by end of year. I have that little faith in Locker's recovery from LisFranc, his durability thereafter, and his accuracy forever.

(I know this a Sankey thread but had to respond.)

I dont think we as a community will ever be able to refrain from mentioning CJ in any thread related to a RB ever again.

Think what you want about the guy, but I think thats a testament to the positive impact he had here. But now I'm throwing all my support to the rookie!

He should be able to jump into the rotation early.
