2014 NFL Draft: Day 3

Remember people talking about mettenberger being a 2nd round pick (I think it was a JCB thread.) every year... These "2nd round" picks end up going way late, or undrafted.

Also I remember a time where we thought none of the top 4 Qbs would fall to us. Turns out every single one did, but one. QBs always get overhyped pre draft, then fall to earth.

 

Come on Return Specialist... or a Holder Specialist...

 

I see a lot of defense in our future. Hopefully Desir and Skov.

 

I know we went offense with the first 2 picks, but I would love to get Bryant from Clemson, Mettenberger, and AC Leonard, TE from Tennessee State.

 

I'd like to get a corner or qb

 

Would really like to see Andre Williams come home. Rb yes... But damnit we need that young power house and I'm not sure whiz wants that

 

If feeling defense finally in round 4 - and follow that up with AJ McCarron boys

If Locker goes down and McCarron struggles then we'll he was a late 4th rd pick and we can draft one higher n 15- but if he excels who knows ... He's a winner his whole college career could use that confidence and swagger

 

"Winner" - lol I love it when I see that as a draft reason

 

Winner can be used as a trait - not the main trait obviously doesn't always translate like Leinart but I'm on board with McCarron so I'm sticking with it
