Trade down... Let's say Dallas. @ 16 Barr is Gone. Carr is available.

I think we still go Nix. Hyde in the second. Mettenberger in the 3rd.

Nix, Hyde, qb... I'd be fine with that.

    On Mettenberger...

Keep in mind he just failed a drug test. I don't have a problem with weed, but failing a test when you know you're going to be tested is pretty awful.

I think Bill Polian said it best earlier today... if you fail a drug test before the draft it either means you're 1) too stupid to know you'll be tested, 2) addicted 3), or not invested enough in the game of football.

Bortles = waste of the 11th pick.

Bortles is the only QB I would even consider taking at #11. He reminds me of Roethlisberger (in the good ways). But, I hate the thought of having one of the last 4, 1st round picks sitting on the bench, because that's what taking a QB in the 1st this year gives you. Either Locker sits or Bortles sits. You need a contributor and someone who can play right away with such a high pick. That's why I'm against taking a QB in the 1st.

I'd seriously consider hyde or mason in the 2nd so that would eliminate us getting a QB...I think we go ebron, barr, or gilbert with #11, hyde/mason in 2nd....QB in 4th
...sucks cuz if we had a 3rd I'd say go QB in the 2nd and RB in the 3rd
I don't think there will be any premium RB's in the 4th

He is saying that you would get a 3rd by trading down with the Cowboys in the 1st rnd.

"trade back" - the Dallas trade has been beaten to death about a third rounder. I figured it was a given.
