I didn't say it was the SAME thing.

But if you get enjoyment out of killing animals, you're in no position to call anyone else out on how they kill animals.

    I'm merely siding with logic.

I, myself, couldn't even imagine killing an animal. It takes a certain type of person to steal life from something else in the year 2014. I think most of humanity has evolved beyond it.

And I have tons of friends that hunt... why do they do it? It'S A BLAST, MAN!!!... yes, they eat the food most the time, but that's not why they hunt. They hunt because it's fun to hide and kill something.

Why? Because something is off in their brain. But whatever.

So I find it hilarious when these types of people are calling out someone else for killing animals.

Of course-- you guys are these types. So you'll deny the very obvious hypocrisy involved.

But but but it's sooo different to torture and animal rather than watch them have convulsions after being a bit off with your shot, eh? Or letting them run around with an arrow in them for a mile or so before eventually dying. That's humane and respectable.

The parallel is that something dies. It ends there.

I don't know many hunters who shoot a deer then leave the carcass behind or burry it where they killed it because the sheer joy of killing an animal gets their rocks off. The meat is used for food.

Anyone who doesn't understand that killing something lower than you in the food chain for food and pitting animals against each other in a fight to the death, electrocuting, drowning, beating, and hanging them is not different then there is no point in even trying to reason them.

I mean, seriously, think about how ****ed in the head a person has to be to tie a rope around an animal's nekc(any animal) and drop it from a tree to snap it's neck. To consciously douse an animal in water and electrocute it. To physically hold something's head in a five gallon bucket filled with water until it stops struggling. All because it jumped out of a fighting ring.

You, sir, are an idiot if you don't see the difference.

The only thing remotely comparable, are people who go on big game hunts. Even then, I would never compare them to what Vick did. What Vick did was pure psychopathy.

I am going to say it again. Dogs are different than other animals. And to a lesser extent horses and cats. It is hard wired into human DNA. Dogs and humans have been partners since pre-history. And it has been like this all over the world. Dogs help protect us and our property, help us hunt, heard animals for us, etc. Even to this day dogs still perform many useful duties for humans. We go to them for bomb and drug detection and for search and rescue. Every major police department has a canine department.

Other animals are food. And while we do not condone unnecessary slaughter or cruelty to these animals they are still food to us. This is also hard wired into our DNA.

People who go to preserves and hunt are just as reprehensible. Like when Dick Chaney was "hunting" quail that had their wings clipped and they literally could not escape. There's no sport in that. It's killing, straight up.

I know a guy who hunts deer with a muzzle loading rifle. Now that is sport!

I feel bad for you that you will never experience not only true love, but the meaning of a real best friend! Owning a dog is the greatest decision I have ever made in my life, one I would recommend for any human being. I pity you TitansWillWin2 but either way, Happy Easter

I am going to make one more response on the matter and then squash it. I hunt for food and was brought up in it by my father (something that is being lost on our youth today). Most hunters (not all) have a profound respect for the animals that they take (Kill). I say a prayer over every animal that I take, because it is a blessing. I pray that my shot was true and that the animal did not suffer. My family eats more free range game than we do processed meats at your local food store. It is healthier (not shot up with hormones and pressed in living conditions which lead to disease). I am happy to have the knowledgeable skills to provide this for my family. It is primal DW and within our natural order! To compare Vick and the killing of man's best friend for money and fun, to what I described to you above is asinine. Take a step back and think about that for a moment or two.

Terrelle Pryor- you gotta be kidding.
