I like Dennard over Gilbert. I wouldn't be upset if we drafted Gilbert, he is just at that line where I don't hate the pick, but I don't like it.

I think our draft will go ,

1st round pass rusher or qb based on who slides. Wouldnt be surprised if we took that tightend from NC either..

    2nd round cb

    4th round rb

I only did first 3 picks but I think they will wait until second round to go cb which they should imo. I like Gilbert and Dennard. But we need a pass rush first. Fuller is someone who we can target in 2nd round.

As for rb this draft is deep. Hell u dont even need to draft one sometimes. Thats how easy the rb position has become.

I think that to take a CB anywhere in the first 3 rounds would be a mistake for a team with as many holes as ours. We took a 3rd round CB last draft who has great measurables and we don't know what we have in him yet. Even if he stinks during the season it's relatively easy to hide a weak CB by always giving him help over the top especially if the team has a great pass rush (which is why I want Barr). If he sucks this year CB becomes a need which we can address though FA or the draft. If he plays well then problem solved. Neither one is a doomsday scenario which would motivate me to take a CB early. Chances are BWW will be ok, nothing great but not bad.

You can't have too many good CBs. If the value is there then you take one. The thought of Mccourty getting hurt scares the heck out of me.

I'd be fine going pass rusher/CB in the 1st and 2nd rnds. The nice thing is that the depth is pretty solid for 3-4 OLBers and CBs

Are there any serviceable FA CBs still available?

Looks like there are some decent CBs left who may have another year or two left in them...

    Asante Samuel
    Jabari Greer
    Drayton Florence
    Quentin Jammer
    Corey Webster
    Dunta Robinson
    Terrell Thomas

Samuel or Greer would be solid IMO... Thomas is probably the only one I wouldn't sign due to massive injury history.

What do you guys think about Louis Nix? Saw him to us in a mock, so I watched his game tape. He's a full grown man already (lol) and I think ready to start from day one. Decent space eater and run stopper. With that said, he didn't really wow me. He may progress nicely, but I'd hope to land a better player at 11. I'd be open to Nix if we traded back to 15-19
