    Does nobody have faith in:
McCourty (one of the highest rated CBs from PFF),
BWW (high 3rd round pick last year) and
Sensabaugh (physical freak who is starting to come along football wise)?

That's a very solid trio of CBs, and they're all pretty young too. Wouldn't it make more sense to get an elite pass rusher like Barr? We were pretty bad in that department last season and adding some old Phillips guy is not the long term answer. We could also trade back and pick up another high pick since we're already down a third rounder.

Safety would not be the worst idea even. We are good there but old.

    The general rule is Qb/Lt/DE

Now however I'm a firm believer that CB is equal to DE when the Corner has possible shut down ability. Those types CHANGE schemes and sometimes allow you to cheat

A Safety that can man up whenever needed is also equally dynamic in my book.

I'd take Gilbert probably before Barr. Now I know this isn't what's happening but given the chance (and further deep evaluation) that's my preference.

I have faith in them to an extent. We still need to take a CB at some point in the draft, so why not take the best one? Outside of McCourty, BWW, and Coty, who do we have that is worth anything? Corner depth is so much more important in today's game that it ever has been.

If Gilbert turns out to be as good as advertised he will be far better than anyone the Titans have ever had at corner.

Both Whiz and Horton were together when the Cardinals drafted Peterson (who Gilbert has been compared to). I wouldn't rule it out even though Whiz said no CB in the 1st.

It really just depends on who's sitting there at #11.

If we never would've given Vern a chance there would've be no Vern to lose. Give the young guys a chance.

No to Ebron for the same reason that I say no to Watkins and Evans. You have to have a QB to throw them the ball before drafting them. TE/WRs can't make the team better without a QB. and I say this knowing that we have 2 young WRs in Hunter and Wright that need all the playing time they can get.

We didn't let Verner walk so we could draft a cb in the first. The front office has faith in our defensive backs. Pass rusher or Mike Evans in my opinion.

Don't spin your wheels, see what we have in BWW and Sensabaugh.

You want a repeat of 2009 all over again? I am not comfortable with the scenario of Wreh-Wilson and Sensabaugh as our other CB.
