I can see that. Right or wrong if he goes off it'll kinda make our franchise look dumb for letting him go to uninformed fans (so the majority of them) which is something I'm definitely not looking forward to. I'm a bit torn on the matter because if he does well all I'll think about is "you coulda been doing this for us this year". But then again maybe not. We'll see what happens.

It's funny how I'm the crazy, illogical nutswinger but neither of you can can counter my arguments. It's much easier to make ad hominem attacks than it is to attack the actual argument, especially when you're dead wrong so I guess I understand.

give me a fckin break with the "uninformed fans". The vast majority of fans don't have CJ's balls in their face and can see he wasn't worth 8 million a year.

    It really IS that simple.

Quit pining for CJ he is gone. He left the franchise about 2 years ago.

Actually, CJ was producing very well the 2nd half of the 2012 season.

anyone wanna make a moolah bet that he winds up with more rushing yards than anyone on our roster? Or that no RB on our roster right now runs for more than 999 yards?

Bottom line, the dude was checked out, and wasn't running hard for the Titans. As for him "Balling out", not gonna happen. ESPECIALLY since the O-line of the NY Jets isn't anything special, and his vision sucks. Pair that with the fact that Chris Ivory and Bilal Powell will be splitting carries, and yeah....They basically paid 9 million for a back that is almost 30, with lost speed, and splitting time....Good riddence CJ

CJ would've been better off going to a team with an accurate QB that can keep the defense on their toes.

I personally can't see him doing anything with the Jets, because their passing attack QB/WR aren't anything special.

I'd wager most uninformed fans won't have any damn idea what his contract situation was. All they'll see is a guy we let go lighting it up (if that happens). When the average fan who doesn't follow the NFL closely hears Chris Johnson they think of CJ2k circa 2009 not the Chris Johnson that struggled last season. I don't need to pine for him. I can still watch him play next year without missing a single Titans game. The wonders of technology.

That can't possibly be true and or it doesn't count for whatever reason.
