28 is a popular number. Hopefully the next player who wears the number is good.. so I can repurpose the jerseys.

If they wanted to, they would have.

Do you think that the higher ups didnt know they could save money to sign someone they wanted?

    Johnson had 54 first downs.

    Lacy 61
    Murray 59
    Peterson 59
    Morris 57
    Gore 55
    Jackson, CJ, Mathews 54
    Knowshon 53

The other top 4 in NFL had 68-79, you suggesting this season we'll have a top 5 back who isn't on the roster yet? Greene might be able to get what we had last year, if we go back to the 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense. The guy has averaged under 4 YPC last 2 years, and 2012 was his best year of his career.

You really don't have a clue what you are talking about. THEY ARE CALLED SIGNING BONUSES, THEY CAN COUNT THE MAJORITY DURING THIS SEASON. So if we extend them then yes, it will eat at the cap. We are also going to be signing rookies. AND THE SEASON IS STILL MONTHS AWAY.

On top of that we might just be floating money so that next year we can spend over the cap per the new salary cap rules.

So quit your bitching about **** you don't understand.

I'm tempted to make my CJ jersey an elusive Lamont Thompson jersey.

Yea CJ had no leverage in this. He is just hurting himself by not taking a paycut with us. Now he's not going to get paid chit. Other teams would rather draft a young RB after the seasons Le'veon Bell and Eddie Lacy had and not have to worry about the attitude or baggage that CJ brings. I think Delanie was pointing out CJ specifically when calling out cancers. CJ was also the first one to respond to Delanie's comments so he obviously felt the same about him self or he would have never given it any recognition. Good riddance. Go fall over sideways for someone else. It was great when you cared but like so many you got paid and TN didn't matter anymore. Glad I didn't spend my REAL hard earned money or didn't have it to spend on your merch.

This is what many of you guys refused to get. It's not wanting him gone that made ceratin people seem like haters. It was the unnecessary mocking and insults that seemed to come along with every anti-cj comment. There were many people who respectfully stated their opinion and I had no problem with it. It was those those took every oppotunity possible to make insulting comments that bothered me. Stating your opinion can be a purely analytical activity but once you start throwing insults around it's pretty clear that it's personal.
