That's usually not the logic behind it... I also don't see how he can help us win anymore considering we have missed the playoffs five seasons in a row. And he's played six seasons in the league. That's longer than the average RB lasts, and he's just a one trick pony.

Blame the lack of a true QB or a bad OL all you want, but the best RBs in the league do great even in those circumstances.

 

Can you name any teams off the top of your head who have made the playoffs with their second string QB after injuries to the starter?
