Sorry but Washington actually won the national title in 1993. He didn't put anything on the map but that program fell off hard.

No I can't provide a reasoning other than Jake has been hurt 7 or 8 of the past years playing football while I don't believe Manziel has one serious injury. Some guys get hurt a lot others don't, putting it ALL on "luck" is a little much for me. Those injuries start to take their toll and add up one by one. It's more time spent in the medical room than on the field with your team, it's changing the way you play because of injuries, it's instilling that sense of doubt in everyone around you and probably a bit in yourself that is this really just bad luck or is this not meant to be.

Also on Hammer's post I think the "bad character guys" get magnified when there are PLENTY that have been successful and PLENTY of amazing character guys that have blown. It's a crap shoot, just don't understand everyone's beef over Manziel.

He already has one of the best built in TD celebrations and taunts and to be honest it's not like he was out getting arrested, he was out partying, he's in college.

my earliest football memory is when the number one Washington huskies came to town and I went to the game with my dad and it was crazy Washington had like half the tailgate area gated off never seen that since then but it sure was fun to watch the wildcats beat that azz

What does that have to do with anything? All I'm saying is that Locker "didn't put UW" on the map, they won a national title in 1993 and were good in the 90s. Bashing with me with comments like sorry I was too young don't back up statements.

Washington went from well respected to terrible because of scandals within the program, and AGAIN what the hell does that have to do with Locker vs. Manziel. Washington is a mid tier team and they were that with Locker.

Johnny is as close to Brett Favre as there ever has been, straight up gunslinger! He's gonna drive coaches crazy, but it all depends on if he wins.

I love Locker as a leader, but it would be hard to pass up a player that has done the things Johnny has done, as long as you think he has the arm and eyes to play QB

I don't by into bad character unless it's something inhuman and unforgivable. I find it funny that some of our "bad character" guys we have had were the only players that were even worth a damn while they played here.

Vince Young (considered immature, a cry baby, dumb, etc.)
Albert Haynesworth (greedy, anger issues, almost stomped gurodes leg in half)
Pacman Jones (is there an explanation needed?)
Chris Johnson (i think this has been touched on every thread here)
Cortland Finnegan (considered the leagues dirtiest player)
Kenny Britt (off field police problems, locker room "cancer" in his down year)
