Some really cool comments from Todd McShay about the Titans roster, that Kuharsky points out in one of his articles (link below).

"The Titans' roster is better than a lot of people give the team credit for, says McShay. It comes down to the quarterback as it does in so many situations."

“If you put Andrew Luck with this team, you’d be talking about a potential Super Bowl team,” McShay said.

"There are some similarities to the Seattle Seahawks of a few years ago, McShay says. The Seahawks were building their offensive line and adding a lot of pieces and were ready to make a big jump when they found their quarterback in Russell Wilson."

He's right, we're only a QB away from being a team like Indianapolis and Seattle.

Jake Locker needs to put together a full season or close to it so the country can see we're still here. Its on him.

    Andrew Luck lol...

The guy who has turned the ball over 9 times in 3 playoff games will make your team a Super Bowl contender!!!

Can't take McShay seriously. He said we were stupid for passing on Gabbert.

I will never understand this notion that Luck is a SB caliber QB.

How many picks did he throw in his last playoff game again?

It wasn't that he used Andrew Luck as an example of a SB QB that struck me in his comments, it's that he realizes we aren't as far away from being a contender as a lot of people may think. It's just nice to see someone in the media point that out, when fans of other teams probably just consider us a perennial team with a top 10 pick every year.

I think his use of Andrew Luck is perfect. What he means by Andrew Luck is an above average QB which Luck is becoming. Overrated though he may be you can't tell me that this team fails to make the playoffs with Luck back there instead of Fitz last season. Our roster is much more talented than Indy's and they actually won a playoff game. No way we do any worse.

Our defense would have been even better had our offense not been so inept. A top 5-10 defense will hide a lot of holes.
