    Probably many teams.

How are we supposed to know what the majority of relevant people think about Oher? I know that PFF is not made up of relevant people. Therefore, their opinion of Oher should be void. I'm certainly not qualified either, but I definitely trust myself more than a few British nerds who are soccer fans more than football fans... and whose boss never saw a professional football game until he was 42 years old.

I do recall an NFL.com writer saying that the Titans upgraded their line by paying a league average RT league average salary. But the majority are just clinging to the PFF grades and making assumptions that Oher is the worst run blocking RT in the NFL without doing any research of their own. All these journalists who say he sucks or we overpaid all allude to the PFF grade. That's silly.

So let me ask you something... Do you trust PFF to correctly evaluate every player in the league when they are not qualified to do so?

New Titans lineman walks into a bar.
Bartender says "There's our new tackle, Michael.."
    Patron says " Which one"

    "That one"

    "Oh her?"

I asked who was elevating Oher to the lofty status of "average" outside of a couple Titans fans. A simple "no one" would have sufficed.

I already mentioned the people that you are saying have a relevant opinion are more and more using PFF as a tool and resource. I can cite multiple sources of team personnel using PFF stats and citing PFF, if you like. So, yes, I believe they are qualified and definitely more so than a homer who has made it his vendetta to discredit their methods because of disdain over a ranking.

Now everyone who didn't like Oher's play is just citing PFF... Where does it end?

Yeah. We'd still have Stewart. He failed a physical and he just can't do it anymore.

If we did not have Oher it would be Otto or Stingiley.

And I said probably many teams... Many teams would probably consider him to be average. And what teams think is more important than what I and PFF think.

Using PFF stats is 100% different than using PFF grades. Find me a team who puts stock into their grading system and trusts those grades when making personnel decisions. They're not qualified to give these grades. It's as simple as that. Qualified to gather statistics? Yes. Everyone is qualified to do that.

I'm not a homer. I don't know where you got that idea, but you need to re-evaluate that assessment.

And yes, pretty much everyone who has said Oher sucks or is overpaid is using PFF as their fuel. Are you not? Are you actually basing your dislike for the Oher signing and his capabilities off of something other than PFF?

No, people cite a stat site after stating their opinion. PFF's stats don't paint a prettier picture for Oher. Believe it or not, you're not the only one who has watched him play, or have a monopoly on NFL Rewind. For myself, I already mentioned that I've been re-watching his games.

    Reevaluated. My mind hasn't changed.
