Kenny Britt promises to resurface

Whatever his orientation, his statement is correct. I wish I could see what was said about Dex, because my first two years of college were spent at Ole Miss... And he was a stud, but whenever I saw him he was dressed better than me, a white kid that from the belle meade area. Not blinded out, he wore vests and acted like a civil human being.

Its a sad stereotype that our society has to deal with, and they exist for every race. We shouldn't turn this into a political thread. Kenny acts like an idiot, and yea a lot of people smoke pot, me being one of them, but I'm also not on a professional team. He needs to mature but at the same time, his actions are not just indicative of his skin color. Look around at the criminals we have in every day society. So much of it has to do with how you're raised, and how some of these athletes rise above it should be applauded more than their failures are promoted.

 

People probably called Matt Jones a thug too... and he's white.

You guys probably take the word 'thug' way too literally when it is not meant to describe someone involved in legitimate thug life.

People (myself included) throw around the words 'gay' and 'retarded' just as much... doesn't mean they actually think that person is a homosexual or mentally challenged.

However, I am sure that Kenny was and maybe still is friends with a fair share of legit thugs. Just look at the sh*t he would be involved in. Maybe he finally realized that his friends were his worst enemies.

 

Kenny Britt has gotten a DUI going onto a military base and ran from the cops. He may not be a 'thug' but he is a full blown ****ing idiot.

 

I don't know if I would call him a thug, but he is pretty god damn close.

Thank you very much for bringing him up. Matt Jones was a full blown coke head and I don't remember anyone calling him a thug. When it's a white guy who does things like that he's "troubled". It's BS. Romanowski was the biggest A-hole to play the game in recent history and I never heard him being called a thug. Thug is a word used almost exclusively towards people of color.
