Titans agree to terms with LB Wesley Woodyard

    Woodyard suffered a neck injury about halfway through the season and had some problems for the rest of the season, a reason why he lost his starting job.

    What lb out there would you have signed? This guy is a solid player, great tackler,high character guy and can move sideline to sideline. Not to mention he adds depth and comes from a winning organization so he brings a lot to the table. I trust Whiz and Horton a hell of a lot more then Munch & Fish incorporated so they obviously see something in this guy. Give the staff a chance to put what they believe are the necessary pieces together before you rip them a new *******.

    So basically we have the three fastest LBs in the nfl. Brown, Gooden and Woodyard. We are trying to make sure we can cover any one from a base set IMO. I think this calls for a large run stuffer in the middle to allow us to play light in the LBs.

    Theres the problem, we ran out of candidates to sign and settled on this guy. I have a higher standard, sorry I thought we were all sick of these mediocre LB's.

    We did run out of candidates, but was he not on our radar from the start of FA. I'm not sure. and does anyone now why we didn't bring in spikes for a visit?
