Titans agree to terms with WR/RB Dexter McCluster

Saw more specifics on McClusters numbers. Even better than we thought. Almost all incentive based. It'll be real hard for him to get over 9. His cap hit does not go over 2 million any of his 3 years.

 

That makes me feel much better. The cap worries me way more than the money he'll make. It ain't my money lol.

So why McCluster and not Edelman? Money?

Both play slot WR, return punts, was it the fact McCluster plays some RB?

Here's the thing about Whisenhunt and Horton, they like to mess with the other teams head.

Just the fact the defense has to find #22 on the field increases the chances the defense misses something else and we get a breakout play.

A multi-position player puts stress on defensive coaches. Defense can only substitute when the offense huddles. When Defenses see McCluster, they really wont know what he's lining up as, a RB or a WR. Offenses with versatile skill players have an advantage because they can line up in multiple formations with the same personnel packages and keep the defense from making substitutions all while playing at a fast pace.
