I really do find it interesting that we haven't been reaching out to any ILB's (besides D'Qwell) makes me wonder if our FO really likes someone in the draft or they still have faith in Colin. Or maybe they are just letting the other teams overpay and then snag a vet later on. It's a guessing game

 

Woodyard and Woodley could play ILB (I think).

Hate Antonio Smith, always seems like a d-bag when we play him & he's 32

No Thanks. Hatcher said he'll leave Dallas for the most money, that's a red flag. Plus he's 31 and has had one good year of production, in the 43. Every other year was average.

I'd take Al Woods, we need a nose. Plus he's only 26.

HUGE yes to Woodyard. He's still younger (27) and was the captain of the Broncos defense. He's an every down LB and I have ILB as our #1 need. Woodyard would be the PERFECT fit.

Woodleys injury past scares me. It's been 3 seasons since he's got double digit sacks, he's missed 14 games in those 3 seasons due to injury. I'd risk it on Woodley, but it all depends on his contract demands. I would NOT overpay a dime on him.


Give me Al Woods and Wesley Woodyard. Hopefully after that we look for a bargain tackle. Anthony Collins, Michael Oher, Zach Strief, & Eric Winston are all still out there.
