    I did, as a guard.

    He was a good guard

    Moving to center killed his career.

    I didn't watch a Browns game last season so know little about the guy but it makes sense to look at a guy who was productive in the system Horton is likely to run here.

    I'll say this...he's a definite upgrade over anything we have...if we cut wimbley then we can def afford him...personally I'd rather go after woodyard or daryl smith

    If you read what Browns fans are saying D'Qwell has really lost a step. Whereas Dansby had a fantastic year last year and still looks great.

    So I disagree with your post completely.

    That said, I have no problem looking at Jackson. I'm assuming we are going to bring in several LBs. I'd think only one high dollar free agent though so a lot of this depends on pricing. I'm all in on paying for Dansby.

    Browns fans probably stopped watching their games a long time ago.

    Neither Jackson nor Dansby is anything to get too excited about. Dansby was pretty bad for a few years before suddenly looking good last year.

    I'd be up for either as long as they are cheap and not the long-term plan at MLB.

    I won't argue with that. If I had my choice between Dansby and D'Qwell, i'm taking Dansby. Dansby likely will cost more. But it's not my money.

    Im going to back off my initial feelings about the idea of us adding Jackson, Webster unlike other GM's isn't afraid to keep adding talent. For some reason I was thinking if we signed Jackson we would stop looking for ILB's, but thats not the case at all. Webster has shown in the past he just collects bodies and let the pieces fall as they may, he did pile up 9 WR's last year before camp, and signed Pollard after signing Wilson. He also made sure we had adequate number of inside linemen on offense. So Im ok if we add this guy. Ive already acknowledge he is in fact an upgrade from what we have, but I seriously hope we dont stop at Jackson, we should still be looking to the draft for a better MLB.

    I'll take Jackson but I'm more interested in;
    Karlos Dansby
    Brandon Spikes
    Author Moats
    Daryl Smith
    or any 5 of ILB's we've been talking about in the draft threads
