I think fans have unrealistic standards.

I can't count the number of times that Morgan beat his guy, disrupted the play, quarterback steps up in the pocket, and then is sacked by a DT or blitzer.... and the people on the game thread are like, "GAH Morgan sucks! Look another almost sack!" when he totally made the play.

He isn't a speed rusher. It isn't his fault that the Titans haven't had an effective, consistent speed rusher since he has been here.

I'll gladly admit that I'm wrong if you can back that up with some stats. He flips on running and passing downs. Passing downs he plays LDE and running downs he plays RDE. I doubt we're in running situations nearly 100% of the time.

That's a steep drop for two mid round picks. Point wise, we also lose in that situation by 100+

Trading the 11th for the 26th and 35th (their second) would excite me, which is also even across the value chart. But not giving up a top 15 pick for two 3rds.

We would own the 26th, 35th and the 42nd. But we wouldn't come back on the board til 108.

In this situation I think we would get 2 first round talents plus a guy that had first round potential but slipped.

I like Morgan, I just wondered how he would fit into our defense now that Horton is here. He could have a place, I'm sure but I just was thinking about it. Odrick is slightly out of place in the 4-3 and Alualu is as well. I would mostly prefer a pick (no lower than a 4th, but I think a 3rd could be possible), but I just wondered if people thought he would be moved with the switch. I know everyone said the same thing last year with Sheard and the Browns when Horton went there and he stayed and did decent, so it's not likely. Just tossing around ideas.

Morgan is almost strictly a LDE, a quick google search shows that.
