It's $4 mil by the way. And unless we use the $4 mil we save on a better RB (I don't see this happening) I would rather roll with CJ. He can still make plays and is still probably the best player on our offense. Just his presence on the field makes teams game plan for him.

It isn't the 4 we save this year, its the 20 we save in '15 and '16.

I've been one of CJ's biggest haters since the holdout... but this actually impresses me and I'm not sure why everyone is so upset.

I have questioned his toughness in the past, so it's nice to see how committed he can be. He was willing to suffer through this injury for almost an entire season.

I have honestly been on the fence on whether or not we should cut him. If I fully understood his contract maybe I would have a definitive answer. I think I'd rather wait another year and then make a decision, assuming we won't have to blow a ton of money in 2015 by delaying the decision.

Let's see what the guy can do with a quality coaching staff. I still think he can be a really good player in the right role, and I'd hate to see him tear it up elsewhere.

Regardless of the decision on CJ, we need to target a RB in round 4 for the future.

So this is what I was wondering... Do we have to make a decision this offseason? Can we wait until next year and save the $20mil between 2015 and 2016?

If we're just talking about saving the $4mil this season, I don't see a point in cutting him.

Yeah, that's probably your medial meniscus. If it didn't swell there probably isn't any damage to the MCL.

So do you really believe your workout regiment is comparable to the rigors of professional football?

Were you guys this negative on CJ his first three years on Titans when he was beasting? Or just after he got paid and we set the bar sky high? I get not liking a player but again a lot of you just seem to one to argue for the sake of argueing.

I am under the impression that it saves us dead money the following years. Because *IF* it was only 4, nobody would really be making a big fuss about it. I also read it somewhere but cannot find it.
