    1. Jadeveon Clowney (Top 10): Good in any system.
    2. Anthony Barr (Top 10): Enormous potential, plus consistent production.
    3. Khalil Mack (Top 10): Instinctive pass rusher.
    4. Kony Ealy (1): Aldon Smith clone.
    5. Devon Kennard (1): Great explosion when healthy.
    6. Jackson Jeffcoat (1): 13 sacks, 19 TFL.
    7. Ronald Powell (1 - 2): See Kennard.
    8. Dee Ford (1 - 2): Good COD.

Feel free to disagree, but I think this year is amazing for pass rushers.

Ok how many of those guys are worth an 11th pick? Only the first 3 probably. And you forgot Trent Murphy who was an incredible player at Stanford but does have questionable speed off the edge and can really move up with a good 40 time and 10 yard split.

    Bump.

    Brent Urban, DE/DT, UVA. 6'7" 300 LBs. 33.5" arms.

Plays DE and DT interchangeably throughout the game. Plays over the center, guard, inside shoulder of the guard and occasionally outside. I won't make the lazy comparison to JJ Watt because they're both white, but he does get his hands up regularly to disrupt passing lanes and has the scheme versatility. He needs to do a better job using his hands to get off blocks. Durability is a concern after tearing his ACL in 2010, hurt his wrist in 2011 and then an ankle in 2013.

Just imagine if we took him over Locker & then just say moved up for Kaep or Dalton. Change two picks in one draft and we're instantly a playoff team. Funny how that works.

Im glad you didn't just say "we should have taken Kaep in the 2nd"

I see that a lot here and no one realizes he was snatched up right before our 2nd pick

Hey I was with you all along in wanting him at 8, but I just knew we wouldn't pass up on a QB (Rusty was our only QB at the time)

if you feel anyone compares to Watt, let us know!

Kiper talking about a guy I highlighted earlier in this thread.

Kiper: Brent Urban of Virginia could be a sleeper. I'd call him a poor man's J.J. Watt right now in terms of fit and also based on his special knack for swatting passes. He's a perfect 3-4 defensive end, creating good leverage against the run despite a long, 6-7, 295-pound frame. He uses his length well, both knocking down passes at the line of scrimmage and also using his strength and long arms to shed blocks, and can also just push a blocker backward when he's not doubled. He broke his foot before the Senior Bowl, but that could help turn him into a steal on Day 2.

I think we are certainly in the market to look for about two more defensive ends that can play in the 3-4. We may be looking for a starter and we need the depth for sure.
