RT & ILB is what I'm really hoping for.

Allows us to focus on 34 OLB, NT, RB, & maybe QB in the draft.

I have a feeling if we draft a QB early, Locker finally produces and stays injury free. It would put us in a QB situation like the Redskins, but then we could have missed out on a stud on the defense.

Yea well looking at Jake Locker's tendency to get hurt, and who we have behind him at QB, we need consider QB in the 1st

Worst case scenario the rookie sits all year, but since QB is in such high demand, we could just turn around and trade him for another 1st rounder in 2015 or maybe better.

If one of these 1st rounders is there at 11 I'd have a tough time not taking one.

With the new rookie salary cap it makes it easier investing in multiple QB, the only one I think we have a chance on is Bortles. Ideal situation would be Jimmy G. in the 2nd.

    1st Round: Barr or Mack
2nd Round: QB (if one available, without reaching)

There are 4 QB's I'd be good with us taking. Bridgewater, Bortles, Jimmy G, or Shaw

all the others are defective in some way. But I will admit, the only 2 games Ive seen of Carr's were possibly the 2 worst games of his adult life. So not entirely fair for me to exclude him in this conversation, but as of now I have concerns about him.

I truly don't see them taking a QB in the 1st now for sure. Not to mention, nobody good may be there by the time #11 hits the clock. I know it's early, and half of these analysts have no clue what they are talking about, but seeing Tyler Lewan all over the place bothers me. I sure hope that isn't what they use a 1st round on. They need a playmaker and a game changer that early. If the top 2 OT's are off the board (which they very well may be), then they need to go BPA. They can get a tackle that is quality in Rd#2 or even#4. I do think that they need to trade for a #3 however.

Does anyone know if we are going to get a compensatory pick this year? If they gave us a 3rd that would make things a whole lot better. If Mack or Barr fall to 11th we have to take one of them. if we are moving to a 3 4 D. We dont have the LB's to play at a high level in this system. In the second I really like Jimmy Garoppolo in the 2nd round after his strong showing in the east weas shrine game.

I haven't heard of us getting a compensatory pick as of right now. Jimmy G wouldn't be bad at all, and I agree that they need to take Barr or Mack if they fall. I'll be straight up pissed if they take Lewan over one of them.

I highly dount we get one

which of our free agents are going to sign a bigger deal elsewhere then all the deals we end up with this year? No one.

Even if Verner moves on, Im banking on us spending more on new players than what ATV gets where ever he goes
