Who Will Be Defensive Coordinator

We will not bring Williams in as the DC.. We have a clean slate.. Lets keep it that way.

 

I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't want Gregg. I don't know why most of this board looks at him like he is some kind of God. I'd rather Butler, Wade, or Horton over him

 

Williams isn't the end all be all of DCs but it is tough to find a guy with a better resume. His defenses have taken 2 teams to SBs and his defenses have consistently been top 10 defenses that force turnovers. I like his attitude and think that the energy that he brings to the defensive side of the ball would be equalled by Whisenhunt's energy on the offensive side. Also he is familiar with our personnel and thus has a better understanding of exactly what needs to be tweaked to make our defense better.

 

Because he was the last DC to get us a #1 defense.

 

I miss the Defense we had in 2008-2009 Haynesworth era etc....Teams feared the Titans. I want that again, and I think they have the foundation. Now they need to go out and get a good DC and a few playmakers/pass rushers.

 

Does it bother anyone that Ken Whisenhunt looks like Bill Cowher?

 

It will be hard to have a defense like that. Haynesworth was at his prime and not holding back. I still haven't seen anyone that dominant since then.

 

Albert Haynesworth is a once in a decade type of guy. Very few of those types come around.

 

I wonder what Jim Schwartz is gonna do now. He was a good DC here. I know he's part of the Fisher coaching tree, but he might be OK as our DC. What would ya'll think of bringing him back?
