The bottom paragraph from "the bus" - hopefully the offense is somewhat balanced and not just all smash mouth running. I really wanna see Wright and Hunter be a 1-2 combo punch and put up big numbers especially when a franchise QB is established.

The league has turned into a pass first league and with all the rule changes heavily favors the pass game. Unless you have a team built like SF and SEA where their bread and butter is to pound the rock to set up the pass but they both also have the top 2 defenses in football - something the Titans are a looong ways from.

Even still I am excited to see the new direction and like the hire of coach Whiz more and more - just hoping we dont go back to being a run, run, pass offense .

Love what Bettis said, and when you learn more about him being running coach, I like that kind of coach coming to the Titans. No matter who runs the ball, it never really matters when Fisher was here. We had good RB play from all types of RBs. George, Brown, Henry, Brown again, White, CJ, now who knows.

I know the league is way more passing now, but just looking at how the Pats killed the Colts, running the ball still works very well

Listening to Whiz on 104.5 now...talking about keeping players ACCOUNTABLE with regards to PENALTIES...that alone makes me excited I mean what were our ranks over the Fisher/Munchak eras in penalty yardage...NOT GOOD

Well nevermind on jerome bettis' comments - sounds like Whiz wants a balanced 50-50 offense, as mentioned in press conference.

    From the Cards forum:

    [IMG] Wizenpunt goes to Titans

Leinert says its a bad hire. Says Wizenpunts success in AZ was due to Warner.
    LOL.
Just heard it on channel 3. Cracks me up.

Whiz is a hard ass. He's the guy that benched Matt Leinart and didn't care that he was their first round pick. He doesn't hesitate to put a guy on the bench if it comes to that.
