Youre wrong my friend. Very wrong. The top 4 guys could be great. After that the talent level falls off big time. Maybe fales could be ok and murray can be good if he stays healthy, but the top 4 guys are 4real whether u like it or not.

I'm a full believer in Manziel...and Carr is good man. Very accurate, enough throw power, good size, can run if he has to, and I believe he's probably the best one in the class at reading a defense.

To me, he plays more like Aaron Rodgers than his older brother.

What's wrong with him? In your opinion...From what I've seen he looks good. Now am I being deceived by the lack of competition and the fact that his offense is built for him to succeed? maybe, but you still gotta have talent to do the things he did.

We'll have to wait until Esconatus's next installment of QB breakdowns. I'm looking forward to the Carr, Boyd, and Fales ones myself.

Which one are you speaking about?

Carr has some issues in the pocket that I believe will cap his ceiling rather low. Not gabbert ghosts but he's not comfortable and it makes him throw some ducks.

His feet are ugly. Very very weird hitch/extra hop. This is a sign of slow reads for the vast majority.

His quick one step stuff to the flats is where he eats... That's fine but the fact his deep ball is primarily wr play driven (50/50) bothers me.

His reads are primarily that of a low end qb that can't read the entire field. He works his first or second read to one side and lives off the check down to the same side. If the routes are crossin his face, he can read and do his thing. That's going to require more scheme stuff at the next level to not be eaten alive by pro defenses.

His arm is dumb strong and it allows him to get away with some bad technique. He also doesn't like to move around much to create opportunities to throw a better mechanically sound ball. Once the pressure happens he would rather just throw off his back foot. He tends to throw flat footed as well

Manziel.... Uhhh white right handed Vick with a weaker arm. Creates huge issue for defenses with his legs but I worry about his ability to be a traditional qb when he loses a step. Can he be a drop back passer? He has the laziest feet of any college qb.

Rg3 was really impressive when he could work defenses with his legs. ACL injury and he takes three steps back. He's obviously not ready to work defenses with just his arm. Manziel is small, elusive as hell and a decently powerful arm for his size... But he's a huge risk taker. He's lived off some very questionable decisions. It's like Vick meets Roethlisberger in a small frame. Creates to extend plays, throws 50/50 balls primarily to large vertical oriented WRs.

If you put him on the bears... I'd say he could possibly shine if he was careful. I worry he is a head case and it will show up fairly quickly at the next level. I'll call it right now: More INTs than TDs his rookie year if he starts. By a large margin.
