The challenge with this is the same as with many others... how much influence does the head coach have on the success of the coordinators. Carroll is a defensive-minded person. That also plays into the mix here.

Who's this Bevan you speak of?

Oh. Darrell Bevell. You were pretty close pause not.

Wilson was 9/18 for 103 yards, I believe. That looks pretty bad on paper, but he didn't make any mistakes, and his team won because he played smart. The Seahawks are going to run the ball down your throat as long as you can't stop it. The Saints couldn't stop it. It's not like Wilson had the worst game ever... They only called 18 passes.

Brady went 13/25 for 198 yards and no TDs as well... You don't hear anyone criticizing him.

Wilson has the highest passer rating of any QB in their first two seasons as a starter in the history of the NFL, yet some of you are calling him overrated, comparing him to VY, and saying that Locker would be just as good if not better than him in the right system.

    Delusional.

Russell is a winner... He probably won't put up monster numbers next week either in an NFC Championship that will be a ground attack/defensive-minded matchup regardless of who wins today.

But guys let's be real. He's the fattest old man I've ever seen. It's hard not to think of his weight. I seriously don't know how it's possible for him to live much longer at that weight and that age... It's a deadly combo.

It's a bad representation of Tennessee. When people saw him thy probably just thought "oh yea... typical Tennessean right there."

I don't mind the guy so far since Munch is gone, but it does scare me he offered him an extension. That's beyond concerning actually. Extending a coach who's never made the playoffs. Wonderful.

Southern hospitality at its finest. No idea why more coaches aren't coming to coach with the Titans. Job security out the ass.

That would lead one to believe that perhaps Bevell should be the choice out of Seattle. I would not be disappointed with either of the Seattle coordinators.

You seriously think he doesnt know what player types fit the mold for a defense he is looking for? He has seen it put together, knows what he has and what it would take to put it together. Will it happen overnight? Doubt it. Gotta get those types to build on. He kept the group at the top of the league in defense. He would know what tools he needs to rebuild that IMO.

Our team needs some discipline and direction. And we need a QB we can count on. We do have some young talent which is why the right coach /coaches are important. Have to build it. Also have to admit we haven't had it either. Move forward.

OK... Take this for whatever its worth. A friend of mine who's actually a Texan fan, but his family is very close to the Adams family.....

Told me that TS has talked to every candidate as well.. Either via conference or in person.. And he says TS really liked Zimmer. But TS promised Webster he would also talk with Quinn... Or basically the other candidates Webster wanted him to.

So... I like the fact that if this is true TS isn't like Bud was... As he would make something happen the minute he liked someone. But.... the con to this is you could miss out on a candidate because you waited.

If this is true of course.
