For the record, I'm pulling for Locker 10000%. I want him to lead us to the promise land, F Vick or Fitc, I'm all in on Jake. If he can't do it, I want a Rookie pocket passer. That said, I will support Locker till the day he's cut. I respect everything about him, I thought he made strides this year and I think he can be solid with a GOOD HC and OC next year. JMOO!

Disagree, Vick's body has held up to a lot, Jack has taken a few illegal, and stupid hits.

Levitre sucked this year, missed camp and was a step behind all year. We started Warmack as a Rook, a step behind. Schwenke came in what, mid season, I'd say that's a step behind. They all got better, they'll all have a full offseason to recover, and the will all get a full training camp (unlike last year). That should start with a difference and help as the year goes on. PLUS, we hope the personnel changes benefit the team (the GM better make this true, especially after this off season! It will depend on our HC/OC/DC but we SHOULD be INSANELY overproved next year. If we don't, I'm willing to give a year or 2 bur RW, I won't be impressed.........

Let me just say that Fitzpatrick gets way too much hate from everyone on here.

Is he great? No. Does he suck? Yea, pretty much.

But is he a bad backup? No. He's one of the best backups in the league. Ideally you'd want him to never see the field. And if for some reason he does have to play you'd hope it's just for a quarter or a game at worst. Most starting QBs don't miss many games.

for real man, and we got much more pressing issues to deal with... say for one a starting qb, secondly a pass rushing specialist (DE, not coach), and finally a couple LBs (MLB and ROLB to be specific)....

I actually do consider him a bad backup to be honest but that is just my opinion. Look at the other backups in the league. McCown did an excellent job for cutler with the bears and Flynn played well for the pack until Rodgers came in and won the division. Nick Foles started the season as a backup and now he starts! We have had a lot of better backups here in TN : Collins, Neil O'donnell, Volek. I think we need to make Locker the backup and either sign a FA QB to start or draft a QB to compete with Locker. I was behind fitz 100% then the arizona game happened and that last int happened in OT which was what, 20 yards off the receiver lol and my hate began for this guy, he needs to GTFO!

Whilst the INT was somewhat unforgivable, how can you not give him credit for getting that Tennessee team back into the game.

They we're all but done. Fitz saw fit to fight back, so did the offense (for once), whilst it wasnt quite enough that was arguably my favourite game of the year just because it was awesome seeing our team but a hell of a lot of effort into it.

Demoralising to see it thrown away in OT... of course, but proud of the fight back all the same...

Moral victories go to college football not the NFL, you win or you lose! you can play 59 mins of good football but if you can't finish, what is the point? We were also moving the ball down the field and should have used our running game more at that point in the game. There is no way you leave that game feeling good at all because of the heartbreak of how it ended but I was not shocked to see him throw it right at the guy in red!!

Vick is better than any QB we've had since McNair. Too many dog lovers on this site to look over Vick's past. That's cool, but to say you'd want Fitz over Vick is dumb as hell

Would you bet any amount of money that either can make it through a full NFL season without missing a game? Vick did stand up to a lot of punishment in the past but it's catching up with him as injuries catch up to everyone past age 30.

Jake has been knocked out for weeks at a time by some weak ass hits. I'm sorry but Fitz took many hits this season defenseless, in the pocket that were much more vicious than Jake's late hit and he didn't miss a snap. I like Jake so I'm no Locker-knocker but the kid is injury prone and we need to find someone who isn't.
