Head Coach thread

Quinn has never been a head coach at any level. That would be a colossal mistake IMO.

we have interviewed now Gruden, Caldwell, Zimmer, and Wisenhunt. who is left to interview? Bevell and Quinn? maybe Roman?

 

If we hire Bevell, I wonder if he'll try to get a QB similar to Russell Wilson like Manziel...I could get behind that.

 

Webster says **** you. He was going to hire Quinn come hell or high water. If it takes three more weeks, than so be it. This inexperienced OC is his choice DAMMIT.

 

There are still four HC openings. Tenn, Minnesota, Cleveland, and Detroit. With Wisenhunt, Roman, Zimmer, Caldwell, Bevell, Quinn, Bowles, etc available. I don't count Caldwell as a true option. I do think he is a Rooney rule. Seems like the playoffs coaches are holding these 4 teams up. Be interesting to see who hires first.

 

I would love for Webster to bring in Jimmy Johnson or the Tuna in just as a consult. Keep one of them around until right after OTAs. Their input would be valuable during the FA period and around draft time.

 

I actually really like this idea but at what point do they tell Tommy boy that "you have no idea what you are doing, do you?" Although I trust webster would work well with them but hope Tommy really sticks to his words and wants to win!
