I see Zimmer to Minnesota if Ruston insists on interviewing his Seattle boys. Zimmer may be a hot candidate right now, but Minnesota is in the power position. They can say, "We need an answer by (X day) or we're going in a different direction". I think it would be hard for Zimmer to say no to that since he doesn't even know for sure that he'll be offered the job here.

I hope we offer Zimmer a contract in a day or so after we interview him today. I've liked him for years and I would love to have him here. After Zimmer I would want Basacia or Quinn. I'm not a huge fan of Bevell (though I don't hate him) or Roman.

I forgot where I read it, but it said that Quinn was overated because of the players in that system made him look good

 

Could someone tell me what the draw to Basaccia is? I just don't see why we would hire a Special Teams coach.
