Which of the available teams this year is or was the most attractive for any HC?

All factors, market size, tax implications, player personnel, control, owner, etc etc.

I think we are more desirable spot than Detroit (city), Washington (because of Snyder), Minnesota (because of stadium situation), and Cleveland (ownership and history).

Objectively, I think it is a toss up with Houston. I think I give the nod to Tampa because of location but I think a serious legit argument can be made and defended that Tennessee is/was the most desireable HC job this offseason.

Washington...They already have a franchise QB in place, and the combination of RG3-Morris-Garcon, find me a better crop of offensive weapons a coach can inherit than that..

They also play in the worst division in football currently.

I say no because I can't imagine a quality HC that would want to work with Snyder.

Tampa has a god-awful fan base. Vikings suck and will always suck (and they have a bigot GM). The Browns suck and will always suck. Houston is OK but you'd have to live in Texas which sucks. Lions you'd have to live in/near Detroit which sucks. Washington is run by a madman. Titans win.

Houston. #1 pick that can be used to draft the QB you want. Good players there still on defense. They also appear to be loyal and give their coach time to implement a system.

As much as I hate to say it.. It's Houston. #1 pick on a team that has a good defense in place and some offensive player makers as well. Then I would say Detroit just because Stafford is better than Locker and then Tennessee.

    Had to go with Houston.

Detroit has some nice talent but looks like the coach will be walking in to a mess over there.

I think the best situation is Houston. Team has a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. Huge gaping hole at QB, but the No. 1 pick will solve that. Ownership has proven to be very strong and very patient (look at how many losing seasons Kubiak got before they finally gave up on him). That's the job I would pick.

Tennessee's vacancy is above Washington (insane owner) and Cleveland (total dysfunction), but that's it. The ownership situation in Tennessee is way too murky for a coach to want to deal with unless it's his only opportunity.

Hate to say it, but if I were a potential HC candidate I'd view Houston as the #1 job, and by a good margin. It's a nice sized market. No state income tax. They hold the 1st overall pick. And that roster as-is is way more talented than their record indicates. I really have no idea what the hell happened to them this year.

Plus it's a crap division. Jagrags are a complete joke. Titans have been a joke for the better part of a decade. Indy is the only legit team right now. Point being, I think the road back to the playoffs (/playoff contention) should be easier with the Texans as opposed to the other teams on the list.

The least appealing jobs to me would be:
    - Cleveland: They simply have SUCH a losing history it would be tough for me to want to go there. Maybe that's a stupid reason, but it'd be hard for me to ignore.
    - Tampa Bay: Brutal division. Panthers should be strong for awhile. And the Saints are going to be in the mix for as long as they have Brees. ATL had a down year and very well could be right back in it next year.
    - Minnesota: Brutal division. Literally EVERY other team in the division EXCEPT the Vikings have a legit franchise QB. So not only do you have to compete with those guys but you start out at a major disadvantage because you have to actually find one before you're going to be consistently competitive. And as we all know, finding one is a lot easier said than done.

Those last two may seem like p**** reasons. And I don't necessarily disagree. However, I think you have to take the strength of the division into consideration in today's NFL. It's not too awful rare these days for coaches to be fired after one or two seasons. And picking a team in a crap division is an easier road to quick success.
