Like really upset? Why?

There is a lot to like about either. And both are "name" hires that would draw some good national attention. Not that it is worth that much, but maybe help with free agency a little or Sunday/Monday night games.

The only thing that has given me tremendous pause about Gruden is Cruds not liking him.

No... I wouldn't be overly upset. I'd only be upset if we said no to one of the guys I mentioned and chose Whisenhunt/Gruden instead.

If we had to hire one of them because everyone else had already been hired then I'd be fine with it... but that would be our fault for being dumb and waiting a week to fire Munch.

 

I just read the Gruden began his coaching career with the Nashville Kats. Lol

 

The whole coaching staff was let go in Atlanta because Bobby Petrino abandoned the team and went to become a college coach. He literally left them a note. Mike Zimmer got some flak for calling Petrino a coward. Here is an exact quote of what Zimmer said to the media about Petrino: "He is a coward. Put that in quotes. He ruined a bunch of people’s lives, a bunch of people’s families, kids, because he didn’t have enough nuts to stay there and finish the job. That’s the truth."

I waned a lot on Lovie. I'm actually glad we didn't get him.

 

Because we missed out on an opportunity to interview a lot of these guys earlier in the process... like Bevell, Quinn, etc.

We'll just have to wait and see how it plays out. I'm excited to see what happens.

I don't really think that is going to be a big factor at all.

IDK. He's the clear fan favorite. That should pretty much be all the information you need that he WON'T be the guy.
