QB is more important. I'd rather get an offensive-minded HC who hires a DC to manage the defense... just keep Williams here.

If we get Quinn and he hires an OC who sucks, then what do we have to fall back on with the offense? Nothing.

So you're giving Pete Carroll 100% of the credit up there in Seattle?

Quinn I am giving 0% of the credit because that defense was already dominant without him.

Bevell has been there since 2011... he's a much bigger part of their success.

Agree. I'm sick of this franchise going the Seattle route. Just because someone in an authority role might be familiar with a guy, doesn't mean its a great way to go. The titans were very familiar with Munchak, and Matthews. How did that turn out?

All these new coaches being mistakes is making me wish we just kept Munch. Always go with the devil ya know.

And if our hired HC sucks then it won't matter if he is an offensive or defensive guy. I believe that the opinion that we need to hire an offensive guy to develop a QB is plain wrong.

Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Tony Romo, Matthew Stafford, Matt Ryan, Russell Wilson, Ben Rothlesberger, Cam Newton, and Andrew Luck all played for head coaches with defensive backgrounds for a large part of their early careers and they would most likely make up 9/15ths of most peoples top ten QB lists. There is no real correlation between a head coaches background and a QB's development. It is much more important to find the right guy to lead the team overall regardless of his coaching background and if Webster feels that Quinn is that person then that is who he needs to hire.

But at the same time Russell Wilson is a Seahawk because of Bevell.

Carroll gives him all the credit for that pick... The team may be good mainly because of the defense, but Wilson made all the difference in the world and he's going to be a top 5 QB for a long time.

If you think he's a gimmick you're wrong. He's better than any of the young mobile QBs to come into the league. He's the real deal.

If Bevell can find another young QB to develop and hire a quality staff (and doesn't mind if they drop F bombs and fornicate) then he's my guy.

I think it would look good. As much as I am a fan of Jake, dont think he runs that Offense quite like Wilson, but dont know many who would. IMO, Jakes best fit would be in Kubiak /Shanahan system. Bevell is originally a west coast offense guy, its been adapted to suit Wilson. Possibly, he could do the same with Jake, if he so chooses. The only QB I want in this draft at 11 would be Bortles and I think hes gone by then. Other than that, I have been all about drafting Murray later.A çoach with history of catering a system to his players strengths is what I hope for.

Get the right head coach and if locker not fit the system them you get the right QB . As of last year we didn't have the right coach and not sure about the QB. Let's build this thing guys. Kay the bricks .
