I hope we trade back and then pick up a second/third

our tackle we could get later in getting james hurst I think was the guys name who was injured in the bowl game and get murray/McCarron in the second with either dt/de/lb in the later first

Clinton-Dix plays the Griffin FS role. Line up 20 yards down the field and don't let the ball go over your head. It's a hard evaluation.

But yeah, I haven't been impressed with the Bama defense this year. They don't have the front-seven speed they usually do.

A lot of the guys I like this year are positions the Titans don't neccesarily need - at least not early.

I would love Bama's Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix. A huge playmaker and the #1 rated Safety in the draft.

If Pollard leaves this would be a great choice if he somehow fell to our 2nd round pick but highly doubtful as of now as his stock will probably continue to rise.

So I'm looking at offense at the moment. Let's say we don't get a QB or a RB within the first 2 picks - still likely - they won't and shouldnt go WR - so that leaves open TE.

Delanie Walker won't be around forever and a play-making TE I have been watching lately is Texas Tech's Jace Amano. My buddy lives in Lubbock so I try to keep in on Tech's games as much as I can and Amano is definetly a play-maker to watch. In fact he's ranked as high as the #1 TE in most mock drafts and some have him at #2.

Once again I know it's not a popular choice this early - but if he is still there for our 2nd round pick - he would definitely stretch the defense a lot more than Walker + better hands, faster and will go up and get every ball thrown his way.

Would immediately take some of the attention away from Wright.

    "Jace Amaro*, TE, Texas Tech
    Height: 6-5. Weight: 260.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.68.
    Projected Round (2014): 1.
12/21/13: Amaro has been awesome for the Red Raiders in 2013. The junior has 98 receptions for 1,240 yards with seven touchdowns this year. He had huge days against a number of Big XII teams, including Iowa State (9-143), West Virginia (9-136), Oklahoma (8-119) and Oklahoma State (15-174).

Amaro is very fast and is a good route-runner. He is deadly at burning defenses down the middle of the field. Amaro is way too fast for linebackers and too big for safeties to cover effectively. He also has excellent body control with generally reliable hands"

CJ Mosley has looked a lot better this half. He is in on every tackle and is showing great sideline to sideline speed. Would really transform our defense

Yes, he was way too slow on that sack fumble. That just dropped his draft status BIG TIME..

Too bad our Alabama OL didn't get his final exposure..

Yeah, way too inconsistent and slow-footed. He definitely doesn't have LT feet and he isn't really a mauler in the running game.

You watch the VT game from week one and in the first quarter you think, "Wow, this guy is great." Then you watch the rest of the game and wonder who stole his jersey and snuck in to the game.
