Texans interview Lovie Smith

Alright, if the Titans are going to keep Munchak then I better see some serious initiative in the area of having a quality QB that we can count on and getting us an offense that has a lot more creativity. I like what Munchak did on defense last year especially in naming Greg Williams DC. I need to see the same initiative on offense this year and in getting us another QB.

Why is Lovie Smith as a viable coaching candidate even a debate? In 9 seasons he had a winning record 5 times and a losing record only 3x and one 8-8 season. The guy was fired after a 10-6 season. Sh*t i would take a 10-6 season in a heart beat!

Hiring lovie could also mean Leslie Frazier as our D-coordinator. I'll take that.

Some posters think that a good coach is somebody who tricks or outsmarts the other guy. How about some good fundamental football like blocking, tackling and running good routes, sound coverage.

 

Using an 8th pick on Jake locker was not a serious attempt to get a great QB?

 

if the coaches knew anything about player evaluation they would have taken another qb with better accuracy in the pocket than locker. Also health issues were a concern before coming in to the league. Just saying

Ive been using the past 2 weeks as a bye. I watch the games we play, but my heart is so far removed I couldnt care less if we win or lose.

Mike Munchak as HC is just so boring when youre 5-9

he had a high accuracy percentage before he got hurt

I swear his injuries made all you forget how good he actually is/was pre injury

 

his accuracy in college @ washington was in the 50% range when he was healthy! That is terrible!
