Jay Cutler is 30, so a 3 year deal is probably best for us.

I would draft a QB in the next draft so he only has to sit for 2 years, instead of drafting one now and sitting for possibly 3. Also, since we don't have a 3rd round pick it's going to be very important filling our other significant needs and if we do happen to get Cutler then the QB position takes a back seat for a year or even two.

    Cutler isn't signing a three-year deal. LOL.

Cutler is going to want to retire on this deal, if we could get him for 3 I dont think anyone would argue.

1- Munch needs to go - almost all of us agree with that in this forum.

2- There will still be CJ supporters but I think it's finally time to cut the cord here. A good few years left in the tank but the consistently hasn't been there since his first 3 years or so of being dominant.

3- 1st half of the season Locker looked to be the answer. But too many injuries derailed that and this latest one put it over the top for "most" of us (not all) in this forum especially.

4- As long as Cutler isn't signed to a mega-deal then I would like him as a stop-gap type of QB as long as they go out and draft a QB in a pretty good Draft crop of QB's - but if the "guy" they want isn't there and they go in a different direction then Cutler would have to be the long term answer. A lot of variables into this but obviously Cutler would want a pay day not just be a "stop gap " option so this scares me.

A lot of Cutler haters but then again everyone hates everyone now days and Cutler has a strong arm and arguebly better than anything we've had as of late.

So who knows how this will all play out in the end but as long as the coaching staff is gutted then this should be a start to a productive and very busy offseason for the Titans.

Then hire David Shaw who even FOX sports reported is the hottest college coach's name to enter the NFL during this offseason - and let him draft his own franchise QB in this years draft. Just my opinion here - I would like to see us do what SF and SEA and PHILLY did as of late and grab the big name college coach to upstart the franchise.

Cutler is getting signed to a mega-deal, folks. He's a starting QB. That's the reality in the NFL. He will get HUGE money.

I vote for any coach that's going to bring in his own staff, and will cut Locker. No more mediocre holdovers.

    Go QB in round 1.

Would rather have an NFL guy than a college coach. Hope we promote from within. I'm thinking our RB coach Sylvester Croom.

I wouldn't be so sure. I mean, sure he's gonna get paid. But I honestly don't think it will be a "mega deal". The guy hasn't even cracked 20 TDs in a season since 2010.

I'll bet every cent of moolah I have otherwise. QBs of his caliber don't hit free agency. He will get PAID by someone. Maybe the Titans.

Tell me what you consider a "mega deal" and you might have yourself a bet.
