Swimming? Rehab in the water is great for building strength without putting weight on the injury.

Leg extensions/flexions with pressure point on lower leg. There are tons of machines designed for this.

You're probably right about Murray going earlier but an ACL is a 1.5 year injury. That will be a big knock on teams needing immediate help. I'd be surprised if somebody spends more than a 3rd.

I think he falls to the third, ideally, we should trade down and pick up a third, then use it on him. I would not be upset if we did spend a second on him though.

He's coming back for most likely a backup role or competition for the starting job.

I want to draft Manziel. At least we will be exciting and have more press.

Only to have Johnny Football injured Week 6, great.

That's why he's perfect for us. Let locker play next year, hell, keep Fitz even. Let murray learn in rustys spot and rehab right. Then, he takes over in 2015, we get a possible franchise QB in the second or third.

If (and I think it's remote) locker shows the goods and keeps the job long term, you have a a cheap, young backup that may develop trade value.

Turns a bad situation into a possible win win.

Maybe. I'm just a bit hesitant about drafting a replacement for an injury prone QB with one who is recovering from ACL surger.

If he does return for mini-camp I cannot see the team taking a QB in the first two rounds.

There is nothing out there that says this injury doesnt start a downhill slide for him. Its a chance you take, but his history is not one that says he is prone to injury. Just this one freak one he is dealing with now at the absolute worst time.

I have no problem with Locker coming back to compete for the job....

They better draft a QB with the 1st round pick and open up the job for the best player. If they give Lock the job and don't draft a QB next year, I'll be EXTREMELY close to giving up on this team....

I also hope we get blown out every game till the end of the season, I want Munch gone for several reasons (a main one being is that I feel he will give the job to Locker). This is not a 'Suck for Luck' type thing, but I just want to make sure that we at least get a new guy early on who can properly throw the damn ball with accuracy.... If that means no Munch, then whatever it takes

I've actually slowly started opening up to Dowell... He really changed the offense with Fitz in their to suit his skills (too bad he sucks). And I re-watched some tape, people were running deep, just Jake ALWAYS wanted to check it down. Believe me when I tell you it was more on him, than Dowell.

Sure I'd prefer to scrap the heap, but to be honest, I think Dowell could really work with a younger gun like Teddy, Johnny, or Carr (whatever). I'm really thinking that our crop of QBs (and Britt / CJ / shoddy OL play) held the O back much more than Dowell did....
