And? Listen man, if you want to use outdated info then fine, but like I told you before, Williams is not the same coach from 2002. Hes learned a few things since then. But if you and Munchs family want to pretend hes better, ok.

The obvious coaching choice is Lovie Smith who won 56% of his games with the bears and took a team to the super bowl with Rex Grossman as his QB. It's a perfect fit given that Lovie is a 4-3 guy and could keep Williams on as DC and Rocker on as line coach.

Lovie always had good defenses in Chicago and with a strong independent OC could deliver instant improvement with the talent we have.

What has he learned in those 10 years? His defenses are basically the same and he tainted himself with the bounty gate.

He had some talent in buffalo and failed with it. I looked up the roster for those teams he had good players on defense and a vet QB who didn't miss a game the last 2 seasons he was there. That's a resume for success? The Chiefs made the mistake of hiring a failed head coach in Romeo Crennel how did that work out? He took a team loaded with good players and went 2-14.

And anything less than 9-7 and Munch should be fired.

Common sense, lets everyone know you are a racist. This is the first time I have even seen that suggested.

Honestly, I am surprised that it took you this long to even state it.

But it probably doesn't help your argument that Jim Skipper and Frank Bush were let go, or not retained. Doesn't help your agenda so you don't mention it?

MAYBE Munch liked Gray more? We all know the Titans/Oilers organization run heavily on nepotism and similar, why would this be different?

You disgust me, you really do.

I'm sick of hearing about Gregg Williams's bad winning percentage as a head coach. Guys, that was over a decade ago. You don't think he's learned a bit more in that time, especially after coaching under Sean Peyton for a while? Gregg deserves, and will get another shot as being a HC in this league. Why not us? Tennessee is his true home, and has done magic this season for our defense.

I think Williams moves on after this season, unless he is names HC or something. Really hope that doesn't happen. Not that I dislike him as a coach or anything, but for god's sake I just want to go OUTSIDE of the organization for once.

RollTide forgets even Bill Belichick and Pete Carroll had a low winning % as head coaches once upon a time. But let him go on about Greg Williams.

Williams contract is only for 1 year. Jerry Gray was his DC in Buffalo....I don't see him stepping over/on Gray. His title is "special assistant coach". He is an intense guy. I think he would be a good choice as our HC but I don't think it will happen.
And yes!.....his % as HC is low but it was the Bills for gawd sakes!
As JCBrave said.....other coaches had low % at one time and still had great success. Thomlin has a big winning % and I still think he sucks! Lol

Unfortunately, I think he moves on and we have another year of Munchak, Gray and Lowgains. They'll do just enough to keep their job for yet another year. I really, really hope I'm wrong. But I think Tommy Smith is not going to do anything this year about the coaching. Unless we lose the next 7 games... which we won't.
