thats what I am thinking. I don't want to get ahead of myself because of our next three weeks but if we tough it out we can make a good run at the playoffs

Same here if we make it through the next three i'll be happy if we go 2-1 during that stretch.

Indianapolis has a real hard stretch coming up against Seattle,San Diego,Denver,Houston and Tennessee.I think the Colts will lose some of those and fall back in the race.

Yeah, going to be a rough one for the next few. Should be downhill from there.

I think the colts are overrated somewhat. They are a good football team and Luck is a very smart qb. That being said, IDK about their defense and I think with our solid team overall we can take it to them. I see Denver being a L no question there, and maybe going 1-1 with the colts

All starters need to stay injury free.

In this league, that is all based on luck. This game is a war of attrition and it is so physical teams need to be prepared to loose good players due to injury. There is absolutely nothing no one can do about it. The Wilfork injury in NE is huge, and actually worse than what happened to locker because wilford is gone for the year. Now people can run on NE

I posted this in another thread but I think it makes more sense here:

I know it's early as hell but I took a look at the remaining schedules for AFC teams to get a better look at the playoff race just for fun. I strongly believe that the week 16 game at home against will be for the division and the ONLY playoff berth from the AFC south.

In my opinion, the winners of the other AFC divisions are pretty clear. Broncos, Patriots, and Ravens (maybe Cinci, but the second place finisher in that division will be irrelevant).

Second place in the East will be Miami at 11-5 and second place in the West will be KC at 11-5. Looking at their schedules, I think these results are the most realistic for these teams. These will be the two AFC wild card teams because, as explained below, the 2nd and 3rd place AFC south teams will be 10-6 or 9-7.

That leaves one playoff spot left for the AFC south champion.

I think the Colts will finish 10-6 (with losses to Seattle, Denver, one loss to Houston, one loss to Tennessee, and one loss between San Diego/KC/Cinci).

I think the Texans will head into the Week 16 game at 9-6 (with losses to New England, Denver, one loss between KC/San Francisco, and one loss to Indy).

I think the Titans will head into the Week 16 game at 10-5 (with two losses between KC/San Francisco/Seattle, one loss to Indy, and a loss to Denver).

So if Houston wins the week 16 matchup, there will be a three-way tie for the division and Houston will win the tiebreaker for having a 3-1 record between the three teams (Indy would be 2-2 and Tennessee would be 1-3). Tennessee and Indy would be 10-6 and lose out on wild card berths to MIA and KC.

If the Titans win, they win the division outright at 11-5.

Note: Even if we enter the Week 16 matchup at 9-6, we'd still have a shot at winning the division by beating Houston as long as we split with Indy and win the common games tiebreaker.
