    Good story but this made me chuckle....

    Pretty sad that "less than year" = "an extended stretch of time" in KB-land. And that's not even counting the refusing to cooperate with police nonsense from a few months back.

    As dumb as he is, I think he knows he can't get arrested this year -- in a contract year. After he gets his next deal, though, I expect him to go back to his old ways. That's why the Titans have to just let him walk after this year.

    Absolute best-case scenario is Britt tears it up this year and leads the league in receiving or something like that. Then the Titans franchise him and trade away his rights.

    I don't see any way he's back in Tennessee next season.

    If he keeps his nose clean, stays relatively healthy, and has a decent season, Britt might want a short-term deal to have a better chance for a monster deal in a couple of seasons.

    I don't think anyone is going to throw big money at him based on his work to date unless he has that monster season. Like you said, I think the Titans would franchise him.
