What do you all think of him? Obviously over shadowed by Clowney, but he was fairly productive and has much better athleticism than I expected.

He is 6'7" 266lbs. So he has the frame to add weight. He ran a 4.72 40yd, but had a quick 10 yd split of 1.60 and it is that initial burst that you need in a DE. His 3-cone time was excellent for such a big guy at 6.89 and shuttle times of 4.3 is good. Both show change of direction which is important in pursuit.

Is he a workout wonder or a real player? His stats weren't bad in college.

Just a guy to keep an eye on if we don't go DE in the 1st or 2nd rnd.

He's undersized, lacks effort, gets worse as time goes on. He's kinda in a few ways like SenDerrick Marks so noooo thank you.

I agree with everything but the undersized comment.

I guess he is technically the right size, but he's skinny, he looks like he's extra light.

Honestly going off film he looks like he's 230.

He never really broke out in college.

Sometimes those guys turn into Cameron Wake. Generally, they don't.

Dude played across from Jadaveon Clowney and couldn't put up decent numbers. Doesn't get much easier than that in college football.

I'll actually back off my last post.

I actually think that he helped Clowney. He actually drew double teams, did the contain thing, and forced a lot of plays inside or even towards Clowney.

He is a motor guy and he is smart, but he isn't a great pass rusher. He would be a fantastic backup to Morgan, IMO.

Why start a thread on a guy we would take in the 6th or 7th rd? If that an UDFA possibly.

That SC front 4 had 40 sacks and he had 3 of them. I would pass but the one thing he is not is under sized. He did get his hand on 6 balls.

His pro day workout was not as good as the combine. Nfl draft scout has him ranked outside the top 10 among DEs.

    Wait a second...

In 2010 he had solid numbers. 7.5 sacks, 13 tfl, 11 hurries and 8 pd. Based on those numbers you would certainly draft him some where.

In 2011 his numbers went down to 6 sacks and only 2 pd.

    Then 3 sacks this year.

Would like to talk to him about why his numbers went down. Based on his workouts and his 2010 numbers certainly worth a 5th or 6th rd pick.

Here is a one hour video of the South Carolina defense the last 2 seasons. Look for #98 at LE. Seems to have good athleticism. Gets good consistent pressure on the QB but gets waled off too easy on runs to his inside.

Reminds me of Adrian Hubbard Alabama's 6'6 245 OLB.
