In Hawthornes defense, he had zero pass rush and zero safety help. Our team was trash this year.

Hawthorne has great potential I just worry if he will work hard enough to fulfill it. Regardless QP made him look like dookie.

You might be able to draft a Larry Warford in rd 3 or even rd 4.

Both Long and Winters have increased their status with scouts and one or both could come off the board before Warford does. Then you have the Fluker factor as a top guard prospect.

So with at least 3 interior linemen coming off ahead of him he very possibly might not be taken in rd 2. You also have the possibility of a center coming off ahead of him if a team has that need.

We could be drafting in rd 4 and have both Warford and Barett Jones still there. It's possible.

Warford is not as dominant a run blocker as his size would indicate. He doesn't explode off the ball and shock defenders the way Warmack does and he doesn't physically overwhelm them like Flukler does.

Then you have the versatility issue. Warford is a guard only while we have players who can line up in more than one spot. Long can play tackle and Fluker is potentially a dominant RT. A prospect who can play center and guard both might be preferred.

Warmack stands out because he could be a decade long pro bowl player but if you need a good prospect to plug into the mix they will be there through rd 4.

Brian Winters is moving up on some charts. A very good LT at Kent he projects to OG in the nfl but could play center or RT. He has nice size, decent athletic ability and blocks well in space.

Why would anybody consider drafting cooper at 10 when you can guy like this in the 3rd rd?

Are you serious? That is the certainly the worst video to show if you want to argue for him. He get's beat regularly, blatantly holds and does takedowns, which he may haven gotten away with in college, but wont in the NFL. If you're arguing he's nearly just as good as Warmack, Cooper, etc. you're way off.

Cooper is a stud. I don't know what these supposed question marks are because many respected analysts consider him to be just as good and well rounded as Warmack. The only question marks surrounding him were answered decisively at the combine and his pro day.You guys are delusional if you think Winters and even Warford come close to what Cooper brings to the table. I like Warford in the 2nd/3rd but he's Chance-lite at best. If we get cocky and draft a guy in the 4th and he can't hack it, you'll see how wrong you all were. Cooper will start on someone's line from day one and be a pro-bowler. I've watched a lot of tape not highlights this off-season and Cooper's success in the NFL is the one thing I'm willing to say is a lock.

I didn't argue for him and i have been saying for some time that Warmack is a cut above everybody at that position in this draft.

There are 10 interior o-linemen who ran better 40 times than cooper. If that is the deciding factor than we should take one of them. If 40 times impress you Stingily our 6th rd OT pick from last year ran a 4.86 at 313 lbs. Stud?

I would take Fluker over cooper because he would be a more dominant run blocker and would not get over powered by big DTs pushing the pocket.

We're arguing about guards. Is this what it has come down to? The easiest position on offense to play.

    Cooper's uniform fits him better.
