Not a problem, he looked decent in the one preseason game he played. I thought he had a good chance of making the team had he not had that injury.

That would be nice depth. Even though Walter's size and good hands are intriguing, he has no separation at all. If he can't seal the deal in Houston, I highly doubt he would be able to contribute to our offense.

Then again, we are not bringing him here to be our savior, so I guess he could be worth a shot as a possession WR.

As a 5th WR and a vet, i'd take him for the cheap. HOWEVER, we could go draft a WR in the later rounds, get the same production and pay 50% of his deal. I think we'll end up with this:

    Britt - washington - wright - 2nd-4th draftee - Preston

i'd be happy with that. I dont buy into the cutting Nate crap.

Don't forget Williams, he's still solid.

Except depth isn't our problem. The utter lack of a viable NFL #1 receiver is.

We have to accept the fact that this team is WR by committee.

The Titans haven’t stopped looking for options at the receiver position.

On Tuesday, the team hosted free agent receivers Brandon Stokley and Kevin Walter, in addition to veteran center/guard Chris Spencer.

Stokley played for the Broncos last season. He caught 45 passes for 544 yards and five touchdowns. He’s also played for the Ravens, Colts, Seahawks and Giants during his career.

Walter played the last seven seasons with the Texans, where he caught 41 passes for 518 yards and two touchdowns last season. He’s a 10-year NFL veteran.

The Titans expressed an interest in receivers Danny Amendola, Wes Welker and Brandon Gibson earlier in free agency, but all signed elsewhere.

Spencer, who has played with Seahawks and Bears, would add depth at a position where the Titans are thin.

Oh yeah, I forgot all about Brandon Gibson. For a minute, I was thinking we need a Rooney Rule in Nashville when it comes to WR.
