Based on that single season you're pointing out he seems more like Derrick Morgan than JPP. Seems like a guy who plays the run well, but doesn't get sacks. When I watch him I don't see an elite first step, and that's the main priority when it comes to the position in today's NFL.

Personally I don't give a crap if our DE's are great at stopping the run, they need to be killing the QB first and foremost.

    Really?... We shall see.

Dude is going to be one of those players that wreak havoc. JJ Watt/Clay Matthews type.

He's like a far more gifted Vanden Bosch.

He's a good pick in the 2nd round based off his size and athletic ability alone, but comparing him to Matthews and Watt? Really?

His game tape and stats just don't backup that statement.

I would rather have him than Ansah though. .lol

I still would like to see us get a corey lemonier in the 3rd or 4th and then Brandon Jenkins in the 5th or 6th...I think one of them, if not both, could be great contributers at DE for us.

    3. Desmond Trufant

We can grab a quality OG in the 2nd round. The first 2 can be true impact players on our DL and Trufant would be the best CB available.

Okay he's only played football for 2 years now and is talented enough to be considered a top 10 pick. In a draft class that really doesn't have any elite talent, Ansah actually has the potential to be the best player in this class. He has crazy athleticism that's a mix of size, speed, and power. He's already good in run support but with only playing DL for one year and football for just 2 he hasn't developed enough moves and his technique needs some work. Considering he's this good already I'm sure that won't be too much of an issue, imo.

I've seen Margus Hunt get man-handled more viciously than a Roesthlisberger prom date. His "cieling" is indeed great but I don't think he ever reaches it. No thank you.
