I'm getting more and more convinced that the Titans are going DE at #10.

It also implies that Bud has not given them the money to do that in the past. But like many old people, once he gets an idea in his head, you can't dissuade him(as per Manning). So I'm thankful that Bud thinks spending a lot more money is going to get him a lot better team-cause it will. It's too bad he didn't think of this when he was younger. And I can talk about old people cause I'm one! :cj: I'm also glad they paid CJ cause I love this smilie!

The FO has been quoted as liking our ends already and pressure from our ends was not the problem last season. If anything we need to go G or DT. We have to either protect our most important investments or be able to collapse the pocket up the middle so our ends can turn their pressures into sacks. Sure we picked up Sammie Lee Hill to stop the run but I hope you guys don't believe he's the solution. We can do better.

I do hope we draft a really good player on defense with the 10th pick hopefully a game changer like our other first rounders Jevon Kearse ,Albert Haynesworth,Keith Bulluck, etc. if i remember correctly we drafted each of those players in the first round in the years 99-02 and they were the building blocks of our great defense.I'd love to hit on a game changer for the defense and even if we drafted an offensive lineman such as Warmack or Cooper it would make our line even more solid.

One direction i hope we don't go in is wide receiver especially Cordarelle Patterson he is raw with one year of play at University of Tennessee.I do think this would be a mistake.

This team has just 2 DEs that can play in the NFL. That's pretty much it. It's a position of HUGE need.

I wouldn't expect the FO to come out and say this in the weeks prior to the draft (in fact, I would expect the opposite), but it's blatantly obvious to anyone who can see things objectively.

Morgan and Wimbley were on the field way too much last season. They need to be spelled by quality backups. Not Scott Solomon and Keyunta Dawson.

The DT rotation is fine. There are 3 (and arguably 4) guys who are all decent starters on the team -- Hill, Casey, Martin and Klug.

It's easy enough to get a starting offensive guard in round 2 or later. Heck, that's where most starting guards in the NFL come from.

All of this adds up to the Titans going DE in round 1, IMO.
