Disagreed. Reynaud is far more of a playmaker than Mariani is.

Mariani is solid, but that's about it. Reynaud offers a spark. Just has more of a knack for it.

PFF, actually, and Martin absolutely outplayed Marks. From '11 to '12, I thought he actually looked worse, and the data reflects that. He's not the anchor of the line. That's Casey. Martin played 100 less passing plays, and got more pressures and sacks. He played 130 less run plays and got more run stops than Marks. I don't know how you could possibly construe that Marks outplayed Martin in any way, fashion, or form.

I'm not naive enough to believe that you just plug in Martin and problem solved. I'm also not naive enough to think Marks is anything but a scrub. We can (and we have) sign guys off the street that have more ability, upside, technique etc... The fact that he got a lot playing time does not make him the better player. Marks is the weakest link on the line. Let him walk. We need a clean break. The compensatory pick we would get for him next year is more valuable than anything he brings to the table.

I'd be ok with retaining Deuce. Good back up.

Not qualified to answer about these guys. Only watched a few games last season, and spent most Sundays shaking my head in disgust.

You are answering things that aren't even questions.

I'll quickly waste my time responding.

Cook is not one of the biggest offensive threats. You have nothing to back that up other than Cook's magic "potential" which rarely delivers during the season and also comes with drops that hit him straight in the hands. There is no factual basis for stating he is our biggest offensive threat.

We will see what he signs for. Personally, I think he wanted the agent to threaten the WR route on the franchise tag because he WANTS out of Nashville. I think he's doing everything he can to get out of here.

Then what does? You think the coaching staff is all about playing the inferior player? Regardless of how much more talent you think Martin has, they limited him for a reason.

Good point on the compensatory pick.

Here's the way I see it. The Titans will go after a DT. If it works out, great. They might go DT with a high draft pick. If either happens, Marks isn't needed. But, if neither plays out, and Marks can be resigned for cheap, it's better than pulling someone in "off the street".

How many times is Cook actually looked at? How many times has he been wide open and Locker/Hasselbeck don't even look there or Locker overthrows him by 10 yards?

    Come on, man.

    Don't like Cook? Cool.

And you're probably right about him wanting out of Nashville. I figure the same.

And he clearly is one of our top 3 offensive threats. Who else would be?

    Britt (always hurt)
    CJ (usually sucking)
    Cook (inconsistent)

We have no other playmakers on offense outside of those 3.

Reynaud offers nothing. He had a great game against the Jags when they were playing a bunch of guys on their coverage units who hadn't played all season. He rarely made it to the 20 when he returned kicks because he would ALWAYS bring it out from eight yards deep in the endzone.
