A total of 16 Titans unrestricted free agents are now allowed to start negotiating with other teams.

That group includes starting tight end Jared Cook, starting defensive tackle Sen’Derrick Marks and returner Darius Reynaud.

Other free agents are linebacker Xavier Adibi, defensive end Dave Ball, guard Kyle DeVan, linebacker Zac Diles, defensive tackle Leger Douzable, guard Leroy Harris, fullback Quinn Johnson, guard Deuce Lutui, linebacker Gerald McRath, cornerback Ryan Mouton, running back Javon Ringer, linebacker Will Witherspoon and defensive end Jarius Wynn.

Teams can’t sign any free agents until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, so the coming three-day window is for negotiations only.

The Titans also have one restricted free agent, offensive lineman Fernando Velasco, who is expected to receive a qualifying offer from the Titans by the Tuesday deadline. That would allow the Titans to match any other potential offers for Velasco.

I didn't realize Mouton was a FA. The staff seem pleased with his play in nickel last year. Surprised we've heard zilch about re-signing him.

Reynaud was fun to watch, but as long as Mariani comes back, we will be fine without him. He should be able to find work somewhere after the great season he had as a returner.

Why? He sucks. You shouldn't be surprised he won't be back.

Mouton has been horrible since the day he put on his first Titans practice jersey. I'm surprised he's stuck so long.

Mouton should be gone. He did finally play decently last year, but 1 yr out of his entire time here to play "ok" isn't good enough. Good luck elsewhere.

Need to lock Marks up though. Feels weird saying that as I've disapproved of him for a long time. Same for Reynaud. Mariani isn't near the same caliber of player- and after having his leg snapped in half, that surely wont help things.

Don't overpay for Marks or Reynaud. Marks is just average, isn't big enough, isn't a pass rusher nor a run stuffer. He's not the answer at the starting position next to Casey. I acknowledge it could be worse, but whatever.

Yeah Mouton sucks he singlehandedly cost us a couple games his rookie year including the Jets game where he had a bad case of fumblitis.

A lot of low cards in that hand. Deuce Lutui and Will Witherspoon could be good depth guys. As could Harries. None are worth big money though. Ball should probably retire.
