For being a terrible football player he sure did have a good season. 11.5 TFL, 8 sacks, 2 FF, 1 int, 3 pd.

Key Additions: Louis Vasquez RG, Chris Ivory RB, Richard Seymour DT

    1. Ansah DE BYU
-BPA. I really like Star, but Ansah and Morgan are a nice duo.
    2. Woods WR USC
-I think he's the best all round reciever in the class. Perfect hands and route running. I don't get how he's not a sure fire 1st rounder.
    3. Mathieu CB LSU
-Faster than we thought and very twitchy. Gives us options at corner
    3c. Schwenke C Cal
    - The FO's loves him, I do too. Day one starter. Vasquez starts RG and Schwenke at Centre, Amano,Hutch or Velasco at LG.
    -----------------------
    4. Bennie Logan DT LSU
    - Good value pick.Weighed in heavier than anticipated, has great burst and active hands. Casey, Martin, Seymour, Logan, Klug
    5. Kevin Reddick MLB UNC
    - McCarthy Insurance
    5c. Duke Williams SS Nevada
    - We have Markelle Martin to back up Griffin and hopefully Williams to back-up Wilson.
    7. Stansly Maponga DE TCU
    7c Jeff Baca OG UCLA

I just don't get all the Warmack love, as long as we are running a zone blocking scheme he's just not a good fit. He's an nonathletic, slow, heavy footed road grater. If we we running a power game then he'd be our guy, but running 5.5 in the forty just doesn't' translate to a guy who'll be able to reach block on LB's. Our guy is Jonathan Cooper, he's perfect for our scheme. He looks like a fullback when he's pulling, that's how friggin' athletic this guy is. I think he's better than Warmack period.

So I changed my mind on what I want to happen entirely.

Free Agents: Sammie Lee Hill, DT, Detroit Lions;; Louis Vasquez, OG, San Diego Chargers;; Chris Ivory, HB, New Orleans Saints;; Duante Robinson, CB, Atlanta Falcons;; Braide James, LB, Houston Texans

Round 1) Dontae Jones, DE, UCLA -- Gives us a run stuffing end that can rotate with Kamerion Wimbley on the weakside. Jones can also play so of like Kevin Carter and bounce inside on 3rd downs. Jones and Hill will give us a big boost in our run defense.

Round 2) Barrett Jones, OC, Alabama -- Jones let's us play Velasco at LG where he is a better fit in my opinion.

Round 3) Jonathan Bostic, LB, Florida -- Bostic is a big time player who was the leader of college football's best defense last season. McCarthy can't stay healthy and we need so legitment depth behind him.

Round 3) Shawn Williams, S, Georgia -- Williams gives us some more depth at safety and can develop behind Wilson for a year or two.

    ---------- Rest of draft ------------
Round 4) Brain Winters. OT, Kent St.
Round 5) Montri Hughs, DT, Tennessee Martin
Round 5) Brandon Kaufman, WR, Eastern Washington
Round 6) *Traded to Vikings for Scott Soloman*
Round 7) Khaled Holmes, OC, USC
Round 7) Brandon Moore, DT, Texas

Exactly why I want to trade back. If Warmack does get taken, we'll have a fallback on Cooper.

D Jones at #10? No way Jose. We could easily trade back 10 picks and pick him up. I'm still on the trade back to #13-#17 range and pickup an additional 3rd.

    1st - Warmack or Cooper
    2nd - Tank Carradine
    3rd - Barrett Jones
    3rd - DJ Swearinger
    3rd - Tyrann Mathieu
    4th - Kwame Geathers
    5th - Stepfan Taylor
    7th - RayRay Armstrong
