    Step Down.

I'm sure he had no hand in drafting Jake.

Even if you do believe that, he did have a major role in developing Jake. I guess he just decided to skip that step all together. Smart move.

Who do you think notifies the FO of player needs? Munch and Bruce thought they could coach up anybody. So they didn't label the o-line a big need. They thought they could get by with players playing out of position, old washed up vets, and coaches' relatives. smart move.

Right, because Munch has no responsibilities as HC. Let's just shift the blame to others when things go wrong. The FO, the coordinators, and the players.

Reading comprehension is important.....I said that his cumulative record as a HC is sub .500....what is factual is that you do not comprehend what you are reading.

    You are right.

So 13-3 home field advantage but one and done, 2-14, 3-13 is the same as 3-13,4-12,1-15.

After all, that is really your premise right?

Have fun cheering for the Titans to lose next year. I'll try to cheer for the Titans to lose on our next coach so that I can be as good a fan as you.

I only see it getting better. Greg Williams will be a big help. Also like the addition of Sly Croom to the coaching staff. He seems to be pushing the addition of better backup RBs. Also the kids we have on defense should be better. KB is in a contract year. He will probably go all Haynesworth and have an amazing year to get a big contract. There also sounds like a real commitment to improve the interior OL.

How did we get to one playoff berth in three years equaling zero playoff berths in three years? Math is important too.....

I want this team to win.....that is why I am not at all pleased with the fact that Munch was retained....it's really very simple, if the team wins, everything is sunshine and happiness, but if we don't, then you'll find people that are trying to find out why we're losing and remedies for the losing.

If we win next year, I'm giving the credit to the players and the coordinators.....since it was solely thier responsibility for the play of the team on the field, which resulted in our abysmal season, will it not then still be solely their responsibly to see that we play well and make the playoffs, and if we do just that, they get the credit. Munch doesn't have any responsibilities, so he's just a figurehead, who will be in place whether we win or lose until Bud decides to get rid of him. I guess that'll be when that Grandfatherly feeling wears off....

Yes, that was my premise. I was pointing out that some aren't putting the blame on him for losing, but I have a feelng that if we were to start winning, that Munch would get the majority of the credit for winning. I was just spinning it around and taking the other side of the argument that people are making for munch. Doesn't make any sense, does it? People are just too concerned about feeling good about their team, that they will come up with any reason they can to feel better about the team. Like fooling themselves into thinking that Munch, who is nothing more than a good o-line coach, will suddenly become a great coach in the NFL. I'm not afraid of looking more in depth at my team and realizing what kind of state we are in and where we are headed. If you objectively look at the situation, anyone can see that Munch is failing as HC, and he has no clue what he is doing or how to translate his ideas onto the field. It's okay to make your own assessments about our team instead of having blind faith in someone who has given you nothing to believe in. Munch has shown nothing. I'm just comparing him to other coaches in the league. It's not even close. We need to move on from Munch and this way of thinking. We're never going to get anywhere in this league with Bud's family first mentality.

I think he gets a lot of blame around here lol. Maybe too much so. I'm not sure he is the best or the worst coach but if we start to hear ghetto locker room rumblings, then it's surely bad.

However, I think if we would have started hass last year, we win more games. He plays a more low variance, high completion style of ball. Locker needed that experience tho so I wasn't worried about losing games last year. It would been nice to see a little more of him, but the shoulder injury and basically playing behind a picket fence didnt help anything.

To me this falls squarely on lockers performance to rally this team. Munch is basically the guy keeping the team in order, the coordinators are the ones to look at first. This is different than say belichek, who had experience actually calling plays. Munch has to manage the team vision and be the guy people answer to.
