To counter the headshot argument on zombies vs. the automatics and missing everyone (yeah its pretty ridiculous) zombies are slow moving. Not too difficult to hit a slow moving target that is not firing at you vs. being fired at and hitting someone.

agreed on the endless shooting. someone takes out axel with 1 shot and then 500 more shots are fired and the only other rounds that hit were the like 30 into axels dead body which again was part ridiculous in itself as they were using high powered rifles and not one of those bullets pierced his body and hit carol?

also this bugged me. continuity error FTW

Yeah the meat shield Carold used annoyed me too because they peppered the sh** out him, bodies ain't concrete. And they were 100% accurate hitting him.. ;)

And they were firing automatic weapons. Which was of course my point. The moving thing was more to do with Rick and crew not being hit by the governor's crew.

See, glaring mistakes like this is what bugs me, I just don't understand how you can miss this... Like in this business, after you film something and edit and everything, don't you actually WATCH the final piece with your staff a couple of times before releasing it? lol

I've seen this discussed ad nauseum by editors, continuity people etc.
The bottom line is that logistically it is impossible for everything to be perfect and the fact that they get it right as much as they do is a major feat..
This Darryl mistake is quite minor compared to some other famous instances and it is almost to a certainty they knew what they were doing and changed it purposely.
Regardless, even if it is noticed and wasn't intentionally changed, they the time it hits the editing room there's zero chance they are going to set up a re-shoot over tattoo placement..

Some of my favorites: I always got a chuckle from the "flashing light" scene in Soylent Green. The cable changes from black to white to black to white and moves all over the place.

Another is in Lord of The Rings.. Pippin and Merry have been captured by Orcs and Aragorn is having a vision: " A Hobbit lay here, bound and crawls off" Then they flash to Pippin who's hands are bound by a thick rope, then they cut away and back, no more rope. Next scene there's the rope.

The rifles in Walking Dead have long been a problem. Just gotta roll with the story..
Ever attempt to carry a bag of guns and rifles?
They weigh, let's just say... a lot. Might as well add a cinder block or two..

No way he casually totes them around like this:

Stuff like this can be tolerated though, it's no different than people beating the crap out of each other for 20 minutes and still aren't dead yet. It's not the same.

There's a scene in LOST where they sail off in the raft, and for a split second, you see part of the camera man in the corner of the screen, which I didn't notice until the second viewing, but something like that, I can see how someone in the editing room can miss, but I don't see how you can miss the tattoo error, especially a professional...

What makes it worse is the tattoo error is in the very next cut.

Literally nothing happened in this episode..

..and for the record, any episode that ends with singing ANNOYS THE **** OUT OF ME. Regardless the show. Can't stand that crap.
