The issue with Jonathon Cooper is if he is better than Warfard or Fluker. He can't touch Warmack.

The top guards in the nfl are 6'3 or 6'4 and weigh an average of 315 lbs. Warmack is 6'3 325. There are no 295 lb guards that made a pro bowl roster or alternate. None!

There are some quality inside guys who go around 305 like Levitre and the Pouncey brothers but the top guards like Evans, Lupati and Yanda are all 315.

Steve Hutchinson played his career at 305 but he was drafted 12 years ago.

The issue for me is that we need to run the ball against 3-4 teams. Especially the Texans but the colts are going to the 3-4. I want a pair of guards who can push a NT out of the gap or match up with JJ watt and other strong ends.

I think DJ Fluker is the 2nd best guard next to Warmack. He would be great against 3-4 or 4-3 schemes. A devastating down blocker he would be great at blocking down on a NT or handling a 300 lb plus guy right across from him. Inside linebackers will want no part of him.

Fluker was the 3rd best player coming out of high school in 2009. He has elite size and is an elite run blocker.

-Warmack is the best Guard imo
-No CB is really worth a top 10 pick this year, Milliner would be okay
-No Safety should go top 15 with amount of depth at the position
-DE is interesting but considering he would spend his first year probably off the bench then idk rather use a top 10 pick on someone that can make an immediate impact
-Star only DT worthy of top 10 pick, Richardson not sold on, Floyd ehh

    1. Chance Warmack, OG
    2. Sam Montgomery, DE
    3. Justin Hunter, WR
    4. D.J. Swearinger, SS

Mike Gillislee later on and what not

Assuming we get guys like Brandon Moore, George Wilson, Chris Canty, and another CB like DRC.

Players don't look as big on TV. Seeing them in person is a different story.

I've seen Eddie George, Keither Bulluck, Kenny Britt, Jared Cook, Ahmard Hall, and others... Massive guys. I was most surprised with Hall. Never would've guessed he was that big. Cook is probably more of a beast than anyone I've ever seen. He's like a wider but shorter LeBron.
    Erron Kinney was also huge.

Surprisingly Kevin Mawae was not as big as I thought he'd be.

Yeah I saw Eddie at Melrose Pub once and he was still a monster even years removed from the game. The size of the pile of wing bones on his plate was probably the most impressive part though, I have never seen anything like it.
I too was overwhelmed by the size of Jared the time I met him. Jacob Ford is the scariest person I have ever met in my entire life.

I'm all in on Warmack, just so we can use our 2nd on Matt Elam. If we don't go OL 1st round, we must in the 2nd.

Agreed. The only person I would consider taking over Warmack at 10 is Star, but I have heard that Warmack is the best player in this draft overall and that would make it a tougher decision.

2nd round I say we go BPA DT or SS and get a CB in the 3rd and Ball with our second 3rd.

I'm still pretty nervous at our MLB situation. Would be nice to have some depth there. I suppose we can get that in FA.

I'm thinking most analysts, especially for their earlier versions of mocks, just look at a teams general rankings (i.e. our horrid pass D) and be like, OK, this team needs a CB or S.

If you watched the games, you'd see that while our D was horrific at times, a LARGE part of that was b/c they were so damn tired and on the field for usually 3/4 of the game. Our offense just couldn't sustain drives or stay on the field. For that I put the blame on 3 things:
    1. Interior OL
    2. Jake Locker
    3. Palmer
We got rid of #3, so that should be, or rather hopefully will be better. 'THEY' tell me #2 (or rather #10) will be improved. Even though I'm still a doubter, we aren't gonna draft a QB anyway (which is OK b/c there doesn't seem to be an elite one this year). That leaves us with the first order of business, draft Warmack....

Oh, Jerry and his laid back defensive philosophies definitely get some of the blame. But he at least fixed it a bit as the season progressed - so I guess there is hope, kinda, plus we are stuck with him (hoping our new 'assistant' can help out a bit here). Also, the D-Line at times disappeared and couldn't get any pressure, but again that has a lot to do with the fact they were on the field for so long. Throw in the fact that offenses now play 'hurry-up' alot and don't allow for subs, which only makes things worse.
