Cook has done a pretty nice job of biting his tongue, he could have blasted this staff, but he's been pretty professional.

We also have $12M in carryover to spend if we choose to. Franchising Cook is most logical, I mean we once did the same for Bo Scaife, and Cook is twice the player Bo was.

This is true. However Hernandez doesn't have to play on a perennially bad team with a dysfunctional organization and inconsistent QB play. Pretty easy to be happy and just take care of business when you don't have to worry about anything else but football. People around the league think Cook is a budding star because he is. Titans fans are too busy bashing their most talented players to recognize what they have. Eventually they'll get their wish and we'll have nothing but scrubs with "a great motor".

I'd be unhappy if I were him too. Who's happy with 6 wins? No one.

And how could he not say something... The Nashville media went to him regularly for comments, for a long long time he kept quiet.

I have no issues with him saying it like it is.

The only difference with his comments and C.J. telling it like it is, is that Cook sounds like he's eager to fix the problem, CJ not so much.

Last thing we need to do is lose weapons on offense with Locker still developing. I don't mind overpaying Cook for 1 year with a tag and see if he's happy enough then for a long term contract. If not then we can sign or draft someone next year, or hope Thompson is ready for more playing time.
